Is social media your world and gaming your passion? Are you well-versed in Instagram, TikTok, X or Discord, able to spot trends before they go viral, and know exactly what content gets the community excited? Then join our team and play an active role in shaping our social media channels as a Working Student Social Media (m/f/d).
IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL
- You’ll independently research relevant topics and create content for our social media channels (e.g. Instagram, X, TikTok and Discord) –from text and images to short videos.
- You’ll develop creative content ideas, such as memes, trends and other formats, that engage our community and boost interaction.
- You’ll support our community management by replying to comments and dms, running giveaways and interacting with our community.
- You’ll help develop and implement social media strategies to boost our brand awareness and reach.
- You’ll keep an eye on the latest trends on social media and contribute new ideas and formats.
TO SUCCEED YOU NEED
- You are still enrolled for at least one more year on a degreeprogrammein marketing, media, communication, mediadesignor a similar subject.
- Gaming is your passion and you have in-depth knowledge of the gaming and esports scene.
- You’reconfident using social media and have experience with platforms such as Discord, Instagram,TikTokand X.
- You have an eye forgood content, know how to use acameraand understand what matters when it comes to photo shoots and video recordings.
- You’recreative, keep up with the latest social mediatrendsand enjoy developingnew contentideas.
- You communicate confidently and in a way that is tailored to the target audience, both verbally and in writing, in German and English.
- You work independently, are a teamplayerand enjoy contributing your own ideas in a dynamic environment.
EVEN BETTER IF
- You’re based in Cologne or the surrounding area and can pop into our office in Ehrenfeld on a regular basis.
- You’ve already gained some practical experience with social media formats (ideally in the gaming, esports or sports sector), e.g. through an internship or a part-time student job
- You already have experience in image and video editing
- You’ve already gained some insight into marketing and social media strategies and know how to apply them in practice
